The Cardinals held the No. 1 pick in the 2019 draft class, with all pundits initially predicting that Arizona would select Ohio State defensive end Nick Bosa. However, Murray, a 21-year-old Oklahoma quarterback, has been on a roll lately and has a chance of being the Cardinals’ first-round pick, with the team reportedly looking to trade former first-round draft pick Josh Rosen for a third-round pick.
However, first-year Cardinals head coach Kingsbury told reporters that the team has yet to make a decision on its plans for the offseason, including the draft in late April.
‘But it’s fun to hear me say I did it and it was a done deal and all that stuff, so you just go with the flow and enjoy the process,’ Kingsbury said.
Despite rumors that the Cardinals have made a deal with Murray, the Cardinals’ new head coach insists, “I adamantly deny that.”
“It’s fun to have the first draft pick because nobody knows if you’re trying to bluff or tell the truth or whatever. There are a thousand different ways you can go about this and we’ve got 50 days left,” Kingsbury said. ( kindee1688 )
