According to ESPN, Irving suffered a sprained left knee in Monday’s 98-122 loss to the Sacramento Kings, and was forced to leave the game in the first quarter and never return.  ( kindee1688 )

The 32-year-old is averaging 24.7 points, 4.8 rebounds, 4.6 assists and 1.3 steals this season in 50 games, shooting 47.3% from the field (40.1% from long range) and 91.6% from free throws. 

He is the latest major player to suffer an injury after Anthony Davis, a recently traded insider, suffered a left groin injury. 

Also in the running are P.J. Washington, Derek Lively II, Daniel Gafford or Jaden Hardy.

Since All – Star Weekend , Dallas has won just two of its six games , losing all four by an average of 17.8  points .
