The Philadelphia Eagles have rewarded Saquon Barkley with a two-year, $41.2 million contract, with $36 million guaranteed and $15 million in incentives, NFL Network reports. kindee1688

The Eagles signed Barkley to a three-year, $37.75 million deal last offseason with $26 million guaranteed. He carried the ball 345 times for a league-high 2,005 yards and 13 touchdowns during the regular season, before the 28-year-old running back set an NFL record with 2,504 yards rushing in a season, passing Terrell Davis.

Barkley also played a key role in the Eagles’ 40-22 win over the Kansas City Chiefs in early February. 

The Eagles rewarded him with a two-year, $41.2 million contract, with $36 million guaranteed and $15 million in incentives, locking Barkley through the 2028 season with an average salary of $20.6 million, becoming the first running back in NFL history to earn more than $20 million per year.  ( kindee1688 )
