The 28-year-old player told reporters at his own ‘Medieval Day’ event on Thursday: “It’s official today that I passed the (concussion) test.”

“It’s great to hear the chief doctor say that we can do full training. The engine is hot.” 

Meanwhile, Gronkowski credited the club’s medical team for helping him recover in time for the big game. “They helped me a lot in many ways. We have to work step by step every day, step by step. Deep down I was sure that I would get through it. I just had to wait for the right time.”
