It marks another collaboration between Kilman and the Spanish manager, who knew each other well during their time at Molineux Stadium. Before the final figure was finalized, an initial offer of £25 million had already been rejected. 

“It’s an incredible feeling to be a West Ham United player,” the England international said.

“Since I found out that I was interested in this club, it was an opportunity that I had to seize. When it was finally done, there are no words better than being extremely delighted.” 

“I personally enjoyed working with Julen during his time at Wolves – he is a top coach, someone I have learned a lot from, so I am confident that I will develop as a player under his guidance here.”

Last season, Kilman was one of only two players in the Premier League , along with Arsenal ‘s William Saliba, to play every minute of a matchday .
