It’s clear the England star is not in Enzo Maresca’s plans, with the player told to move on and take the No. 10 shirt to new signing Pedro Neto, while Sterling himself is keen to stay in England.
Back in the summer, the Gunners were linked with a move for Sterling after failing to sign Mykhailo Mudryk, before eventually bringing in Leandro Trossard as his replacement.
Asked if he would like Sterling to come to the Emirates Stadium, Keown told talkSPORT: “No, I don’t think I would. I think he’s a very good player but I think when he played for Man City he was very good without the ball.”
“When you look at what Pep does, he moves the ball around. When he gets the ball, he moves too much and can’t get past people.” ( hotfuns )
