Ruben Amorim’s side held on to a goalless draw at half-time but suffered a second-half setback from a corner and goals from Jurrien Timber and William Saliba, handing the club their first defeat since taking charge.
Keane, speaking after watching the game live on The Overlap, spoke about the performance of United’s players, pointing to Marcus Rashford, who came on as a substitute. “I’ll tell you what, Marcus Rashford came on and his overall performance was shocking,” he said.
“Look at his header. What have United’s substitutes done since they came on? No, they haven’t done anything.”
“Manchester United don’t deserve anything. They are rubbish. Do you know what happened to United? They cheated you. They cheated you. They are powerless.”
Asked if he saw a good deal from United, Keane said: “Tonight, no – I’m so disappointed with Manchester United. I think the players will show something.”
“It was an easy game for Arsenal, the first half was okay but I expected a bit more, the manager probably thought United could be a bit better. I started getting really frustrated towards the end.” ( wilson88 )
