“He was watching it intently and I started to think maybe they (Chelsea) would look at Frank as an option because there isn’t a lot of managers at the moment. There were some managers they were talking about, Nagelsmann was obviously mentioned, but he looked like he needed a bit of time.
“This probably makes sense for the owners to just breathe a little and give Frank a chance to get back in the game. He has an unfinished job at Chelsea. He loves the club. Nobody cares about the club or knows it better than him.”
“Obviously the players didn’t have good results or score a lot of goals. But you can see there are good signs with the club and they have a Champions League game against Real Madrid.
