The forward has a £65m release clause should a Premier League club make an offer and Spurs have been linked with a move for the 26-year-old.
The rumours were further fuelled when Solanke missed Bournemouth’s pre-season friendly against Rayo Vallecano at the Vitality Stadium.
But Iraola explained that injury was the reason for the striker’s absence and he is expected to be available for Saturday’s game against Girona.
“Yesterday someone stepped on his (Solanke) foot and we will not risk him playing in the pre-season friendly and I hope he will play in the next game against Girona.”
“It’s not a big deal (Solanke’s injury), he just couldn’t get his boots on and we decided not to risk him, even with the other players. I hope they’ll play against Girona and we’ll see them, they’re close. Some of them have had little problems, like Justin Kluivert and Lewis Cook.
“With so many players and so many games, it doesn’t make sense to take risks, and we made that decision.” ( sakidbet )
