The 28-year-old former truck driver recently announced that he will change his path to become a disabled athlete by wearing a prosthetic leg to compete in the sprint in time for the 2020 Paralympics in Japan.
“I had a chance to talk to my friends about this and they asked me if there was one thing I liked or was interested in,” Ped told ‘TMZ. “I said if I was allowed to get on the track, I promised to bring the Paralympic gold medal.”
