vox888 Arsenal are still monitoring the situation of Juventus’ Serbian striker Dusan Vlahovic as they look to strengthen their No. 9 position. vox888
Rudy Galetti reports that Vlahovic remains a target for Arsenal as head coach Mikel Arteta looks to add a new number 9 to his attacking line to boost his chances of winning the Premier League title.
The Gunners are reportedly set to hold talks with Vlahovic’s representatives soon to seek information on the Serbian striker’s transfer prospects, with Juventus reportedly open to a move for the No.9 if the right offer is received.
Vlahovic has been a mainstay in manager Thiago Motta’s front line for the 2024-25 season, being the only player in the team to start all 16 games at the start of the season, 12 in Serie A, in which he scored six goals, and four in the UEFA Champions League, in which he scored three goals, in what is considered a good form.
Arsenal had been tracking Vlahovic since his time at Partizan and then made a strong bid to sign him from Fiorentina, but the Serbian forward ultimately rejected a move to the Premier League and opted for Juventus. ( vox888 )
