Girona, led by coach Miguel Angel Sanchez Muñoz, or Michel, are still struggling with injury problems, with Arnaut Danjuma and Gabriel Miseui set to be sidelined for five and six weeks respectively, according to a report from Mundo Deportivo on Friday.
Michel’s side have a long injury list with Viktor Tsigankov, Abel Ruiz, Alejandro Frances, Ivan Martin, Yaser Asprilla, Cristian Portugal, Hon Solis, Pau Lopez and Ricard Artero all out, with Danjuma and Meseuy both also out, taking the total to 11.
Both Danjuma and Miseui reportedly suffered hamstring injuries in Wednesday’s 4-0 Copa del Rey win over Extremadura, with the former set to miss around five weeks and the latter around a week longer.
Girona host Leganes in the Liga on Saturday, before visiting PSV Eindhoven in the Champions League on Tuesday, November 5. Then they travel to Getafe on Sunday, November 10, before the international break, which should give Michel’s side some breathing room. ( Onelove168 )
