This season, Dortmund signed him with a 4-year contract, but he has not played for the team in either warm-up matches or the season due to injury problems. 

But the 28-year-old striker recently recovered from his injury and trained with the team for the first time on Tuesday, putting him in contention to return this weekend at Werder Bremen on Saturday, August 31. 

For the “Yellow Tigers” who finished second in the UEFA Champions League last season, they have made a great start to this new season, defeating Phoenix Lubeck 4-1 in the DFB-Pokal, before beating Frankfurt 2-0 at home in the Bundesliga on the opening day.
