However, Chris Hughton has revealed he does not want to take the risk of Partey playing because he has a ‘minor’ injury problem.
”Thomas, there’s a little problem. We felt it was too risky for him to start,” the former Brighton boss said briefly.
Arsenal manager Mikel Arteta will have to check on Partey’s fitness in time for the side’s Premier League clash with Leeds United on Saturday.
