Chelsea had a chance in the 10th minute when Jadon Sancho passed the ball to Neto who had a close-range shot, but Anthony Robinson was better at the angle and managed to clear it just in time.

Six minutes later, Chelsea took a 1-0 lead when Cole Palmer received the ball from — before turning away from two away players and headed it into the back of Issa Diop’s leg and into the net in a superb finish.

Fulham almost equalised in the 20th minute when Alex Iwobi passed to Raul Jimenez who dragged the ball into the penalty area from the right before shooting with his right foot, the ball hit the far post and went behind.

22 minutes, Cole Palmer had another chance to finish when he shot with his left foot from the edge of the penalty area, but Leno saved it.  

Fulham hit back in the 36th minute when Alex Iwobi found Calvin Bassey who swerved into the left side of the penalty area before unleashing a powerful shot that was saved by Robert Sanchez. Chelsea were spared. 

In the 35th minute, Chelsea had a chance to score a free kick that almost extended their lead when Enzo Fernandez chipped the ball into the penalty area for Marc Cucurella to dive and head the ball down, but Leno was able to block it before a teammate cleared it away. The first half ended with this score.

In the second half, in the 49th minute, Chelsea almost scored another goal. Enzo Fernandez got the ball in front of the penalty area before setting up a strong shot, but Leno made a superb save to push the ball over the bar.

Chelsea had the ball in the net a minute later when Palmer crossed from the left into the penalty area for Levi Colwill to head home, but Colwill was in an offside position and the second goal was denied.

52 minutes Fulham almost equalized. Adama Traore passed the ball from the left to the edge of the penalty area for Alex Iwobi to spin with his right foot. The ball almost went into the triangle.

Ten minutes later, Fulham had a golden opportunity to score. Adama Traore crossed from the right and it went to the far post. Anthony Robinson was wide but took his first shot a little too far and was saved by Robert Sanchez who rushed out just in time.

The Stamford Bridge crowd fell silent as Fulham equalised 1-1 in the 82nd minute. Anthony Robinson crossed from the left and Timothy Castagne headed it back for substitute Harry Wilson to dive and head the ball into the near post, but Sanchez was unable to save it.

In stoppage time, the fans of the Blues were shocked again when Sanchez kicked a bad pass and was intercepted before Sasa Lukic crossed from the right into the penalty area to Rodrigo Muniz who took one touch before shooting past Sanchez to make it 2-1. 

Game over, Chelsea shocked at home by Fulham who came from behind to win 2-1 in injury time.
