In his post-match analysis of the match, Laurens said: “PSG controlled the game almost completely, but Alisson made 9 saves and saved Liverpool from conceding a goal.” 

“We’ve seen before that if you can’t convert chances into goals, it doesn’t matter. You can have more possession, create more chances and still lose. I think PSG made Liverpool look average, especially in their attacking game, they’re not as sharp as they used to be.”

“Alisson is outstanding, worthy of being one of the best goalkeepers in the world, but Liverpool’s forward line of Salah, Diaz, Jota, Szoboszlai and Gravenberch don’t look like the Liverpool team we’ve seen this season.”
