Further reports from ‘Orlando Sentinel Sports’ indicate that the fourth-year veteran’s status was originally set to be indefinite after recovering from a thigh injury.  ( gameintr88 )

But recently, after undergoing surgery, it’s better to fight to recover 100% and then come back in Training Camp 2025. 

Suggs has missed the last 15 games with a knee injury, which began with a hamstring problem, and missed 10 games at the start of the 2024-25 season with a lower back injury. 

The 23-year-old has excelled in defence alongside his attacking prowess in the 2024-25 season. 

He averaged a career-high 16.2 points in 35 games, plus four rebounds, 3.7 assists and a career-high 1.5 steals in 35 games, and was named All-Defense Second Team last season.

Suggs was the No. 5 pick in the 2021 draft class when Orlando signed him to a five-year, $150.5 million rookie contract last October. 

This season, Orlando has been facing problems with key players being injured all season. In addition to Suggs, there are Paulo Banchero and Franz Wagner. They have played together for only 97 minutes in 6 games.  

Magic, 29-34 , are in 8th place in the East Play – In Tournament, but have lost four straight.
