Galatasaray sent representatives to Rome to hold talks with both Roma and Zalevski’s representatives on Thursday, with the Turkish transfer window shutting on Friday.

Galatasaray and Roma have reached an agreement but Zalevski wants to stay with the Giallorossi, with the 22-year-old left-winger having been with the Italian club since 2011.

Zalevski rejected the offer of personal terms on Thursday, despite being offered a significant pay rise.

However, Galatasaray are not giving up as they are prepared to increase their offer in a bid to sign Zalevski, according to Gianluca Di Marzio.

The Roma academy product did not train with the first-team on Thursday as he ponders the next step in his career.
