ESPN reports that if Fox signs a new deal now, he will get a three-year, $165 million deal. However, if he waits until next year, he will get a four-year, $229 million deal.
The figure could rise to $345 million on a five-year deal if Fox makes any All-NBA team in the 2024-25 season, with his current deal entering its final two years.
Fox has been clear both publicly and internally about his desire to be a part of Sacramento for the future, including playing an advisory role in the deal to sign six-time All-Star DeMar DeRozan from the Chicago Bulls.
Throughout his seven-year career, the 6-foot-3 guard has played exclusively for the Kings, averaging 21.2 points, 6.1 assists and 3.8 rebounds, and led the league in steals per game last season.
