Italian outlet Calciomercato is reporting that Fiorentina have made their move to buy Adli permanent, with AC Milan confirming that a permanent deal will be completed before the end of the season.
Adli moved from Bordeaux to Milan in 2021 but failed to make an impact with the Rossoneri in the 2022-23 and 2023-24 seasons, so he was loaned to Fiorentina for the 2024-25 season for a loan fee of €1.5 million and an option to buy for €10.5 million.
The 24-year-old midfielder has made 13 appearances in all competitions for Fiorentina, scoring two goals and providing three assists, and is a key player for coach Raffaele Palladino, who are currently third in Serie A.
For Adli’s performance with Milan over the previous two seasons, he played 39 games in all competitions, only scored one goal and made two assists, but he was able to sell for a profit, having paid 8.75 million euros to Bordeaux in 2021. ( sunlit1688 )
