A major media outlet conducted a survey asking 18 people, including NBA coaches, scouts and league executives, about a variety of topics, and all voted for the best player. 

But in terms of MV position, ‘SGA’ got 7 votes, Jokic got 2 and the other number went to Luka Doncic of Dallas Mavericks.  ( wilson88 )

The Eastern Conference champion Boston Celtics have 13 votes and the Western Conference Oklahoma City Thunder are seen as the most likely with 14 votes.

NBA champion Celtics were voted by 8 votes to defend their title, while Thunder were voted by 7 votes to believe they will win the title. 

Look at the youngsters. No one voted Zachary Rizacher, the Atlanta Hawks’ first-round pick in the 2024 draft, as good enough to win Rookie of the Year. 

With 8 votes, Memphis Grizzlies center Zach Eady was chosen, while another potential future prospect was Houston Rockets center Reed Shepard.  

Lastly, Victor Wembanyama of the San Antonio Spurs received 2/3 of the votes as the best player in the next 5 years.
