Eriksen, 31, played 13 minutes in the game. It was the first time since injuring his ankle earlier this year.
As he prepares to help the team for the remainder of the season Finally, he spoke about the collision that had left him injured for a long time.
Asked about the challenge, Eriksen told the club’s official website: “Yes, I felt something. will you feel and i can stand up And I feel fine I feel stable.
“But then I felt something else. I feel it in my calves and higher area I think I’ll get through it. and we scored a goal So it’s perfect.”
“We beat Reading 1-0 and hopefully nothing serious. But then it wasn’t like that.”
During an FA Cup game in January, Eriksen was impaled by Carroll and had to leave Old Trafford on crutches.
Carroll was not penalized by referee Darren England for a tackle on Eriksen before he was sent off for two fouls in five minutes against Tyrell Malacia and Gazemi. Ro
Eriksen also revealed that the decision that Carroll was not even registered from the clash was confusing for him. And when asked if he wanted revenge on the striker, he replied: “No, I’m not that kind of person.”
“Maybe back in ’99 it would have been different, but no, not like that. For me it was more of a surprise that he didn’t get a yellow card or whatever, but no, I’m not that kind of person.
