Borussia Dortmund have sacked technical director Sven Mislintat after less than four months on the job following a dispute with a colleague, Sky Germany reported on Monday.
Mislintat returned to Borussia Dortmund to work as technical director around three months ago but relations with his colleagues have been strained, with the 51-year-old repeatedly overstepping his authority, leading to clashes with Sebastian Kehl and Lars Ricken, who are in higher positions than him.
Mislintat was also reported to have tried to counter the signing of Brazilian full-back Yan Couto on loan from Manchester City, but Kehl eventually sealed the deal to bring in the player in line with new manager Nuri Čahin. ( vox888 )
Borussia Dortmund have recently decided to sack Mislintat to avoid any future problems with the club, which will allow Kehl, Ricken and Šahin to work smoothly.
