Italian outlet Gazzetta dello Sport reports that Donnarumma is frustrated by his current situation, having been benched for three consecutive games at Paris Saint-Germain after Luis Enrique chose Russian goalkeeper Matvey Safonov to be his replacement.
Donnarumma could reportedly demand a move away from Paris Saint-Germain next summer if he fails to return to regular goal in the 2024-25 season, amid interest from Inter Milan, Liverpool, Manchester City and Bayern Munich.
This is not a new situation for Donnarumma, who in his first season with PSG had already switched between him and Keylor Navas. Since then, the Italian national team’s goalkeeper has been the choice.
Enrique had created a similar situation at Barcelona between 2014 and 2016, when he alternated between Claudio Bravo and Marc-Andre ter Stegen, with both men demanding a move away, and the Germany international was the man chosen. ( hotfuns )
