The French-Algerian attacking midfielder is out of contract with Monaco until mid-2026 but his form last season has seen him linked with Manchester City and Paris Saint-Germain.
However, Scuro revealed that there is now a chance that the 22-year-old will sign a new contract, with Monaco seeing him as a key player next season.
“It is his decision and ours to stay at the club. We are negotiating a contract extension very well, both with the player and his representatives.”
Aglio has emerged as a key player for Monaco, making 31 appearances in all competitions for the 2023/24 season, scoring eight goals and providing four assists.
Monaco are expected to go all out to extend Aglio’s contract and keep him at the club, with head coach Adi Hutter keen to improve the player. ( sunlit1688 )
