Napoli beat Roma 1-0 at home in Serie A on Sunday night, sending the Neapolitan giants back to the top of the table, with 29 points from 13 games. 

“Other teams have won, but we don’t look at the table,” the Italy international told Sky Sport Italia.

“We just keep developing our own style. We know it’s going to be a long season. We’re happy with the performance and the way the fans have been supporting us.

“Romelu (Lukaku) is a great player, we know that, but what surprised me is that he is a great guy, he helped us through this week. You judge him on the stats but we judge him on the work he does for the team and the experience he brings to us.

“We don’t need to signal anyone. It’s a work in progress. We know there will be bumps along the way. Some things will be painful, but we are on the right track.” ( thaisiambet )
