Golden State Warriors guard Steph Curry, 36, is open to sitting out some games under head coach Steve Kerr in order to get Steph back healthy and ready for the season, according to NBC Sports Bay Area.
Kerr rested Curry for Thursday’s game against the Houston Rockets before the 36-year-old returned Friday against the Minnesota Timberwolves, where he led the team with 23 points, including 11 in the third quarter, in 32 minutes and a knee injury still nagging him, though not as much as before.
“It’s normal, but it’s not a concern,” Curry said after the 90-107 loss to the Timberwolves. “It changed my health program, but I feel good. I feel like I can still get to where I need to be on the court and play 32 (minutes) and still feel fresh.” Nuno168
