“The Mara and Tisch families have hired Molis & Company to consider the sale of a non-majority minority stake in the New York Giants,” the Blues said in a statement. “There will be no further comment on the process.”
The statement was in response to an initial report by the Sports Business Journal.
The Giants were founded in 1925 by Tim Mara and have been partly owned by the Mara family since its inception, and since 1991 have had ownership split between the Mara and Tisch families, each holding 50 percent. ( cosmo365 )
