Atkinson, formerly an assistant head coach at the Golden State Warriors, has been approached to return to the No. 1 role after previously coaching the Brooklyn Nets. 

The performance during the training camp and the pre-season still made the 57-year-old coach feel a little worried that he might fail again, but after a while, it was better than he could have imagined. 

“After the pre-season, I was like, ‘Oh my God, are we in trouble?’ And honestly, that’s what I think as a coach,” he told Cleveland Dot Com.  taothong
