Boston Globe reporter Ben Volin reported Monday that 29-year-old wide receiver Stephon Diggs has expressed dissatisfaction with his role on the Buffalo Bills’ offense, which began in last season’s loss to the Cincinnati Bengals. ( bully168 )

Diggs appeared frustrated late in the 17-point playoff loss to the Bengals. The 29-year-old wide receiver stood in front of quarterback Josh Allen with his arms outstretched and made profanity-laced gestures before leaving the locker room without speaking to reporters.

The 29-year-old wide receiver had yet to participate in the Buffaloes’ all-voluntary offseason program until the situation got out of hand when Diggs attended mandatory minicamp practices. He met with head coach Sean McDermott and general manager Brandon Beane, then the veteran wide receiver left camp just before Tuesday’s start, with it unclear whether he left on his own or was forced to, followed by a series of social media outcries about liars.

Diggs signed a four-year, $96 million deal in the 2022 offseason, so the 29-year-old wide receiver’s woes likely aren’t about money. Instead, they’re the result of Diggs being dissatisfied with his role on the Buffaloes’ offense. If the veteran wide receiver’s situation isn’t addressed, it could hurt his fight for success next season.
