‘Edge Rusher’ Joey Bosa, 28, is confident the LA Chargers will have a chance to succeed under new head coach Jim Harbaugh. After recently talking with the 60-year-old head coach, according to a report from The New York Post on Monday, ( superheng1688  )

Winning as a Charger is something Bosa has strived for since entering the league as the No. 3 overall draft pick in the 2016 class, but such success has been rare before the ‘Edge Rusher’ experience believes. that it became more likely under Harbaugh’s watch 

‘We sat down and talked maybe 30 minutes or an hour a couple of weeks ago,’ Bosa told The New York Post’s Jared Schwartz. ‘Great first impression. I have a lot of confidence in him and the team he has given me.’

‘I think he seems like a really genuine person. Which you don’t find in many coaches all the time. He’s interesting. He loves football above all else. I think all he wants to do is win. The way he talks about his feelings for the job and the future is quite exciting.’  

From Mike McCoy’s final year with the San Diego Chargers to Anthony Lynn connecting the quarterback era with Phillip Rivers. and Justin Herbert, and for nearly three more seasons under Brandon Staley and interim head coach Giff Smith, the Lightning only made the playoffs once in over the past eight years, finishing the 2023 season with just five wins, the lowest since Bosa’s rookie season.

Harbaugh recently led Michigan to the College Football Playoff National Championship after spending four seasons as head coach of the San Francisco 49ers where he racked up 44 wins and a championship. One time in the NFC, Bosa expects the 60-year-old head coach will lead the Lightning to similar success.

‘That’s definitely the expectation,’ Bosa said when asked if Bosa would change the Chargers’ fortunes. ‘I want to win the first game first. Then we’ll talk about Week 2, and then Week 3. Sometimes getting caught up in all the Super Bowl talk and hype can make you distracted and worry about things that aren’t right. must whereas you should be concerned with what is in front of you.’ 

‘There’s a lot of talk about the Super Bowl every year and each year I get a similar response: ‘Okay, let’s see how the first week goes. Then we’ll talk about that.’
