Former Oakland Raiders linebacker Aldon Smith was wanted on a warrant by San Francisco police on Monday night after a woman reported him to the police on domestic violence charges.  bgames666

A woman reportedly called police to report that Smith had been physically abusing her since Saturday night, before the former Raiders linebacker fled the scene. It was later revealed Monday morning that the woman who reported the incident was Smith’s fiancée, and the former linebacker had been in touch with her parents to seek help in rehabilitation after Smith’s history of alcohol abuse that led to multiple NFL suspensions.

‘I can tell you… Aldon called my parents and asked them to take him to rehab,’ the fiancée told the outlet. ‘He complied. They went and took him away. I wasn’t there. My family took him away and took him away.’

‘I want the best for Aldon and I fear for his life regarding his drug addiction. I can’t comment on the fight but I can tell you that I love him and am so happy that he turned to my family who he considers his family and I hope he gets the help he needs.’

Aldon Smith, 28, was drafted by the San Francisco 49ers in the first round with the seventh overall pick in 2011 before joining the Raiders in 2015, but was released by the team on March 5 after being involved in a domestic violence case. ( bgames666 )
