Mundo Deportivo reported on Friday that Real Betis sporting director Manuel Fajardo is keen to add another centre-back, with Victor Nelson, Sebastian Boselli and Martin Vitic all on his list of targets. 

Real Betis currently have centre-back options in Diego Llorente, Marc Bartra, Nathan Bernardo de Souza and youngster Noble Mendy, with Nathan joining from Napoli on loan with an option to make the move permanent. 

Mundo Deportivo reveals that Fajardo plans to add more centre-backs, with three options in the form of Galatasaray’s Danish international centre-back Nelson, River Plate’s 20-year-old Argentine centre-back Boselli and Sparta Prague’s Czech international defender Vitic.

According to further reports, Real Betis are the most likely to land Vitic, as the 21-year-old centre-back is only contracted until 2026, making it likely that Sparta Prague will be willing to let him go for a suitable offer. ( pgzen )
