Atlanta Falcons owner Arthur Blank plans to focus primarily on defensive players in the 2025 draft, NFL Network reports. betflikth99
“The draft picks will definitely be defensive,” Blank said. “I think everyone has seen that.”
Defense has been an issue for the Falcons for years and it continued to be an issue last season, finishing 23rd in points allowed per game (24.88), 19th in yards allowed per game (234.5), 18th in receptions, 26th in first downs allowed (347) and 31st in combined sacks allowed (31).
The Falcons have been tight-lipped in the free-agent market, signing defensive tackles Leonard Floyd, Morgan Fox and Jordan Fuller. They are now focused on the 2025 draft, which begins April 24. ( betflikth99 )
