Chicago Bears general manager Ryan Pouls has taken action to solve the biggest problem they faced last season by trading veteran right guard Jonah Jackson, 28, from the Los Angeles Rams, according to the Chicago Sun-Times.  betflikth99

The offensive line has been a weakness for the Bears heading into the 2024 season, with No. 1 QB Caleb Williams sacked a league-high 68 times for a combined 466 yards. 

The former third-round draft pick in the 2020 draft class spent the first four years of his career with the Detroit Lions before signing with the Rams last offseason. The Polls have been working to bring Jackson to the Windy City to work with new Bears head coach Ben Johnson, who previously served as the Lions’ offensive coordinator.

The Rams are paying Jackson $25.5 million on a three-year, $51 million deal, with the Bears responsible for $17.5 million in 2025. If the 28-year-old right guard doesn’t perform up to expectations, he could be released after next season. ( betflikth99 )
