New Orleans Saints wide receiver P.J. Williams was arrested by New Orleans police on suspicion of driving under the influence early Wednesday morning and released the same morning, NFL Network reports. baconclub66
According to the NOPD, Williams was arrested and taken to the New Orleans Police Department for driving under the influence and speeding (80 mph in a 50 mph area), and was also charged with improper lane use and failure to signal while making a turn.
This isn’t the first time Williams has been stopped by police. He was arrested for fighting in 2015 before the 2016 draft, where he was selected in the third round by the New Orleans Saints. The 25-year-old cornerback played in 15 games, starting seven, recording 53 tackles and one pick-six. Williams is set to become a free agent in March. ( baconclub66 )
