kindee1688 After “Avengers: Endgame,” Marvel movies haven’t been as popular or successful as they were before, but Anthony Mackie, who plays the new Captain America in “Captain America: Brave New World,” believes that old school vibes will return in “ Avengers: Doomsday ,” according to an interview with IGN.
“We were supposed to be shooting this week and we’re going to be out there shooting. Everyone’s so excited. I feel like with the script and with the Russo brothers coming back, it’s going to be great. I’m so excited about what this project is going to be. It’s going to give audiences a sense of the old Marvel movies that they’ve always had.” kindee1688
Previously, Marvel announced a list of 27 actors, which in addition to Mackie, also includes Sebastian Stan who plays the Winter Soldier back, Robert Downey Jr. as Doctor Doom, Chris Hemsworth returns as Thor, and Tom Hiddleston returns as Loki, among others, along with actors from the original “X-Men” film series, “The Fantastic Four” and “Thunderbolts*”.
