But with the gold medal-winning team in Paris, his level is inferior to LeBron James, Stephen Curry, Kawhi Leonard or Kevin Durant because this group has all won the NBA championship. 

However, the 22-year-old is still full of confidence and believes he is an important part of the USA Basketball team under Coach Kerr.  ( sunlit1688 )

“I would be the number one choice,” he told the Washington Post.

“You may have different opinions, but I don’t agree with you.” 

“The result is just to go out there and compete and be yourself, make the shots you’re good at, play defense, they have to find a way to connect and support me – that’s how it feels.”

‘Ant-Man’ was the top scorer in the US basketball World Cup last year, averaging 18.9 points and 15.3 shots per game.

 And no one on that team averaged more than 14 points. 

He is also one of only two players in the 2023 World Cup squad selected for the Olympics, along with Tyrese Haliburton.
