sakidbet Manchester United head coach Ruben Amorim has praised the way Mikel Arteta handled the club’s problems during his first spell in charge, but admitted he would not have been given as much time at the club.
Arteta took over at Arsenal in December 2019 and led the club to FA Cup glory that season and an eighth-place finish. The team struggled during that time, before improving to runners-up in the last two seasons. sakidbet
Apart from the on-field issues, Arteta has to deal with big-name problems like Mesut Ozil and Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang, who after resolving and clearing them up, the team has a better direction.
Many see this as similar to the case of Amorim and Marcus Rashford, but Amorim doesn’t think he will get the same time and opportunity as Arteta, given the team’s current 14th-placed position and the Europa League, which is their only competition to compete for.
“I don’t think so, ” Amorim said when asked if his situation was similar to Arteta’s when he arrived in his first season.
“I won’t have the time that Arteta has.
“I feel like (Arsenal) are a different club, we just have to survive with this squad on Sunday, during this game.
“It’s a different club in that sense (of dealing with internal issues). It’s an inspiration for everyone, but I wouldn’t have had the time to manage the team that Arteta has had.” ( sakidbet )
