The Chronicle reports that Almiron’s future is set to come under scrutiny in the next two weeks amid interest from several clubs, particularly Saudi Arabia, while Newcastle are ready to sell at a reasonable price.
Newcastle are planning to sell Almiron if they receive a bid in the region of £25m to free up funds for summer transfers, with the Paraguayan winger having just two years left on his current deal at St James’ Park.
Almiron, who joined Newcastle from Atlanta United in 2019, enjoyed his best 2022-23 campaign with the Magpies, scoring 11 goals in 34 Premier League games, but his form dropped significantly last season and he lost his place in Eddie Howe’s side.( wintime999 )
