Nottingham Forest’s FA Cup run was halted at the semi-final stage after losing 2-0 to Manchester City at Wembley Stadium on Sunday.
Nuno said after the game: “City started really well, they caused a lot of problems and scored with the first chance which changed everything.
“We responded well, we played well and we fought against a very good team with very talented players. They made it very difficult to turn the result around.”
“We tried our best. The fans were with us until the end. We gave it our all.”
“When we look back and analyze, we had a lot to fight for, and after the grief is gone, we will be stronger.”
123over The remaining target for the Forest team this season is to finish in the top five to secure a ticket to play in the UEFA Champions League next season. They are currently in 6th place, but are behind 5th place Chelsea only on goal difference and have played 1 game less. ( 123over )
