123over Chicago Bulls guard Ayo Dosunmu will miss the remainder of the 2024-25 season to undergo surgery on his left shoulder, the team said in a statement. 123over

Dosunmu had a problem with his shoulder, but he still forced himself to compete. As you can see, he always wore compression tape or a compression shirt. Until the last corner of the season, he received advice from a physical therapist and a professional medical team to close the season.   ( 123over )

The University of Illinois product suffered an injury on Feb. 20 against the New York Knicks, leading to a three-game suspension before returning to the court last Friday against the Toronto Raptors. 

It’s painful because this season he has had the best average performance of his career in many areas, including scoring (12.3 points), assists (4.5 times) and rebounds (3.5 times) from playing 46 games.

There is still one year left on the three-year, $7.51 million contract out of a total $21 million deal.  

During this hiatus, Kevin Huerter and Tre Jones will get more game time.
