Spanish outlet Faro de Vigo reported on Friday that 25-year-old forward Alfon Gonzalez has agreed to join Sevilla after his contract with Celta Vigo expires on June 30.
Alfon has broken into Celta Vigo’s first-team this season and has impressed, scoring six goals and providing five assists in 21 appearances in all competitions, before the 25-year-old agreed a free transfer to Sevilla this summer.
123over Celta Vigo executives have reportedly admitted they will lose Alfon at the end of the season after the player decided to move to Sevilla, who offered him a much higher salary than he was receiving from the Vigo club, and will officially join the Andalusian side on July 1. ( 123over )
